Cyber Station

Well, let's see,  where did I leave off, oh yeah, that's right, logo design.  Now I am off to a different game, I am playing photographer.  I bought a new camera and have been attempting to capture a great shot.  A lot harder than I thought.  Anyway,  I got some shots of the band Easy Street and thought I would share some of the photos so I posted them in the photo album above.  So now I need to do some soul searching and develope my photography style(I am dearly in need of one).  I am in an uphill battle right now to acquire the knowledge and the eye for good photos, yet I am having fun on the way.  I actually like the post production aspect a little more since I can stretch what the camera captures and twist a bit.

Well all is quiet on the western front.  I have been very bored the last few months so I took up new project(web design).  I built two web sites,  although they are are small it took me some time to figure out how to actually build the damn things...

 

 

They just came up to me and asked me if I would build a website for there event, and I agreed.  This is what set all of this in motion.

 

 

Carpet doctors saw the irish festival site and liked what he saw so he asked me if I would build his site so I did.

They were both pleased with their sites and I continue tweaking the individual pages to match expectation.  The fees I charged were minimal,  it saved them a lot of money at the same time I got paid to play around on the web.

 

 

Whether it was because we tried so hard that our crushing defeats rose up to break us into tiny fragments of worthless bone,  or because our own self expectations dictate that we succed at any cost.  Whatever the outcome,  everything seems to smite us like a long broad sword as we dive past summer into the beginning of fall and we mercifully realize that another year is ripping right through our calendar like a rocket ripping through the atmosphere. 

 

So many errands we have yet to accomplish,  so many steps untaken.  I seem to be falling into a complacent zone that is comfortable but non negotiable with success.  I may have run out of energy far too quickly in this ongoing game of life.  This is now the time to try and pull myself together just enough to reach my head out of the water before the next wave comes and crashes down on me causing me to inhale large quantities of that oh so horrid salt water. 

 

                                        We’ve found all of our last fortunate years

                                             Unwilling to run unwilling to forgive

                                      We unleashed this flesh faced undying being

                                   To make you run from your comfortable shelter

                                 We have acknowledged your thinking capabilities

                                Certainly we suggest you may take alternate means

                            Stirring the pot may not help you contrive a new feeling

                         Somewhere to run somewhere to stand somewhere I’ll be still

                          Alls costing me everything that I’ve gained before I made it

I was just sitting around the house late last night quite bored... when all of the sudden I noticed something familiar on the televison screen.   There were three announcers sitting around jabberin' about what had just happened during the game.  I was in shock as I noticed that behind them was a large fore boding sign which read "Monday Night Football!"  Oh, My God!   I thought to myself,  this must be a repeat from last season.  As I continued to listen I was able to hear the words "pre-season" and at once it hit me and hit me hard.   They are already playing football.   This year is swimming by fast and now that football season is ready to hit,  I am sure not ready for that all too familiar slide down the slope from Halloween through Thanksgiving to Christmas.  Lord help us,   before you now it, We will be celebrating the new year and I was just gettiong used to writing 2007 on my checks.   Life is going by fast,  and the national debt is increasing even faster.   If it wasn't for I tunes,  ebay, blackberry and lime wire,  I would barely even notice that the world is changing.
